The bachelor in information systems degree program is offered by the department of informatics and computer systems since its establishment in the year 2002-2003, 1423/1424 H, in the premises of college of computer science.
The graduate and undergraduate programs are established to meet the rapidly growing market needs for highly skilled Informatics and Computer Systems specialists. The Informatics and Computer Systems programs are designed to graduate students in Information Systems within the learning domain of Computer Science.
The department of computer science (DCS) was established in 2000/2001 (1420-1421) as a department under the College of Computer Science (CCS), in King Khalid University. The Department offers a four-year Bachelor program in computer science as a credit and semester based system in accordance with college mission and objectives. The degree program is structured with 138 credits and National Qualifications Framework (NQF) domain skills in the field of computer science with three tracks (Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Network Security).
Computer Science Program is one of the renowned programs at King Khalid University. Started in the academic year 2000-2001, with 20+ years in building Computer Science graduates the program follows best practices in the academia. The 4-year program is structured with 138 credits hours that include Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering and Cybersecurity tracks. The program has been accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET.
