Bachelor in Computer Engineering

The Current Study plan has 165 credits which fulfils the international and national requirements for engineering programs. The plan takes into account the university, college, basic sciences, and specialization requirements. The plan Contains two electives at the college level to allow students to have wide-spread knowledge in computing fields from other programs.

MSc in Information Security

As computing systems has become a vital part of our daily lives, the need for services 24/7 (availability) has become inevitable. Therefore, it’s now more important to identify if the systems are reliable and secure, provide integrity and confidentiality from cyber-attacks. To achieve this, the security specialist needs to understand security principles in planning, designing, analyzing, managing, and developing effectively in a rapidly changing world.

Department of Computer Science

The department of computer science (DCS) was established in 2000/2001 (1420-1421) as a department under the College of Computer Science (CCS), in King Khalid University. The Department offers a four-year Bachelor program in computer science as a credit and semester based system in accordance with college mission and objectives. The degree program is structured with 138 credits and National Qualifications Framework (NQF) domain skills in the field of computer science with three tracks (Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Network Security).
