Study Plan Overview
The current study plan consists of 165 credits, meeting both international and national requirements for engineering programs. This plan incorporates the university, college, basic sciences, and specialization requirements.
To enhance interdisciplinary knowledge, it includes two college-level electives, allowing students to explore various computing fields from other programs. Additionally, the plan features three elective courses that enable students to focus on areas such as embedded systems, hardware security, or computer networks—key sectors aligned with Vision 2030 and the NEOM project.
This study plan adheres to the standards set by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC of ABET) and the Saudi Arabian Qualification Framework (SAQF). It has received accreditation from both the International Accreditation Board (ABET) and the National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment (NCAAA).
