A list of department proposed projects’ will be sent to all students. The student has to pick three projects that they think best fits

their interest. After that, the student should send the chosen projects titles to the HoD, who will forward them to the supervisor.

The student then should arrange to meet and discuss these projects with the specified supervisor to reach a decision.

Title Finalization

By week 4, all student should have finalize their project titles with their supervisor. Then, form PG-4-3 should be filled to and sent to

HoD.

 

 

Project Support Group Meetings

Three Lightning Talk meetings shall be held along the semester. All supervisors and students should attend the meeting that should not

exceed two hours. During the meeting each student is given 3 to 4 minutes to share their progress in the project, and challenges that

they may have encountered. The objective here is to give students a chance to support and encourage each other along the project

timeline.

Every supervisor will nominate an examiner to his/her student. By week 10, a meeting will be held with examiner and the supervisor where the student present the following:

Aim

Objectives

Proposed Solution

Background Review and Related Work

Prototype Demonstration and Defence

By the end of the semester, the student should demonstrate the created prototype of the solution proposed to the examiner and 

supervisor.

The supervisor should assess the overall project execution and management.

Assessment Criteria:

Milestones achieved.

Student’s commitment to meeting.

Student’s commitment to deliver project requirements by stated deadlines

Student’s Comprehensive understanding of the target research area

Student’s Intuitive thinking and taking the initiative in leading the research.

Challenges or problems they may have encountered.
