The department of computer science (DCS) was established in 2000/2001 (1420-1421) as a department under the College of Computer Science (CCS), in King Khalid University. The Department offers a four-year Bachelor program in computer science as a credit and semester based system in accordance with college mission and objectives. The degree program is structured with 138 credits and National Qualifications Framework (NQF) domain skills in the field of computer science with three tracks (Intelligent Systems, Software Engineering, Network Security). The department has also established Master programs.
