TECH IGNITE TALKS 23

In the presence of Dr. Ali Algarawi, Dean College of Computer Science, with the Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs, Prof. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajem, attended the launch of the Scientific Forum for Postgraduate Studies in Computing and Informatics, which was organized by the College at the university city in Al-Fara’a, to highlight students research in the fields of Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science.

According to Dr. Areej Muhammad Al-Asiri, Vice Dean College of Computer Science for Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, graduate students from master's programs in data science, cyber security, computer science, and information systems attended the forum. Further, a competition for the most promising projects in 30 research projects and scientific studies was organized and voted on by faculty members and students.

The forum concluded with Prof. Saad bin Muhammad bin Dajem honoring best three post graduate projects, which received the majority of votes: Performance Enhancement of the Neural Network via Weight Configuration based on Logistic Regression: An Experimental Study took 1st place, Early Diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease by Speech Signals Using Deep Learning Techniques received 2nd place, and High Ability to Mask Reversible Data in Coded Images Based on Pixel Prediction and Quadruple Dissociation Project secured 3rd place.
