The Master of Science in Computer Science (Thesis Option) program is intended for working researchers who are eager to enhance their qualifications in order to achieve growth in their careers. The program is expected to have high demand due to increase usage of IT in all spheres of life and it is in tune to the new vision of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The students shall be undergoing training in latest technology trends in computer science. This proposed study plan has been prepared to deliver coherent and sequential knowledge through stat-of-the-art curriculum to the student’s .Hence, students shall be able to conduct high quality research and make contribution to meet the VISION 2030 of the kingdom.

Demonstrate knowledge of current technologies, applications and tools necessary for identifying pertinent computing problems and formulate corresponding research plans to develop and evaluate computations techniques.

Acquire scientific, technical knowledge and skills necessary for the understanding of advanced topics in computer science for a variety of application areas in Computer Science focusing on modelling, algorithms, software and computer systems.

Demonstrate the competence to analyse, design, develop and test the software systems of varying complexity and critical nature.

Use appropriate tools and variety of sources for evaluating multiple points of view to conduct critical reasoned arguments for advanced research in computer science literature and apply it to various problem solving techniques.

Develop abilities for effective communication, writing and team participation skills to work both collaboratively and independently with a range of audiences.
