Welcome to Computer Networks and Communication Engineering department of college of computer sciences at King Khalid University. It is my honor to inform you that our program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission ABET. The Department offers a wealthy undergraduate program giving the core knowledge of Computer Networks and Communication Engineering fields. Our graduates are exceptionally employable, and are recruited by both public and private sectors as they are academically qualified and professionally well trained, as well.

Program study plan is designed accordance with the current trends followed by telecommunication and Networks to suit the needs of the students and many careers available in Industry worldwide as well as for postgraduate study. It is supported by high teaching quality, modern facilities and specialized and well equipped laboratories which help students to stay competitive in their fields. Students are introduced to the concepts of telecommunications, computer networking, wireless communications, satellite communication, network Security, mobile communications, Multimedia Networks and fiber optics etc. The department offers hands on training to the students to meet the requirements of the industry in well-equipped and hi-tech laboratories with sophisticated instruments and equipments under the guidance of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculties which maintain the competitively of our graduates in the labor market. The Department is extremely engaged in maintaining a high level of excellence teaching quality while stimulating and encouraging research of the highest order. Our teaching staff is one of the best-experienced faculties holding degrees from various prestigious institutions.
